(This project was formerly known as Mother 30th Anniversary Edition. We restarted development and decided to go under a new name!)

The original MOTHER returns but in a fresh and shiny new coat of paint that would make anyone swoon. A complete re-imagining that gives the old NES Classic a lot more pizzazz. MOTHER: Encore strives to shine a new light onto the game that started it all! Relive the journey of Ninten and his friends as they use his great-grandfather’s studies along with some awesome psychic powers to fight the living dead, inanimate objects, and other interesting foes!

This is NOT something that’s intended to replace the original game. There will be aspects that the original game will do better than this version, and vice versa. It’s impossible to look at something from a different angle and still capture everything. We can almost guarantee that some changes may disappoint some fans, but may also excite others. But we hope that you accept this as being something that compliments the original.

Encore will feature:

- A fully remastered soundtrack!
- A re-imagined story!
- Character interactions among the party!
- Completely reworked graphics in a new art style!
- A new battle system that looks/feels nearly identical to Mother 2/3!
- Rebalanced maps and enemies to create an overall better experience!
- Enemies now roam among the overworld!
- Introduces brand new Side Quests and Optional Bosses!
- Fixed map layouts that were littered with dead ends!
- New areas!
- And much more!
